Celebrating Two Years of Hope!:
September 16, marks two years since Lauren’s Hope officially opened its doors!
It is hard to believe that two years have already passed. When we first opened our doors, we stepped forward in faith, trusting God to lead the way and provide what was needed. Looking back today, we can see His hand in every step of this journey.
Over these two years, Lauren’s Hope has continued to grow and change. Our facility has been transformed, new services have been added, volunteers have stepped forward, our community has supported us in incredible ways, and most importantly, women and families have walked through our doors and found a place of compassion, support, and hope.
There have certainly been challenges along the way, but there have also been countless reminders of why Lauren’s Hope exists. Every prayer, donation, volunteer hour, encouraging word, and act of generosity has helped us continue this mission.
So as we celebrate our 2nd Anniversary, we want to say thank you. Whether you have been with us from the very beginning or have only recently become part of the Lauren’s Hope family, you have a place in this story.
And what better way to celebrate two years than to share all the exciting things happening at Lauren’s Hope!
We’re Almost Finished With the Building!
Another exciting milestone is the progress on our facility. The new siding on the back of the building has been completed! Once the siding is painted and the screening around the air-conditioning unit is installed, our building remodeling project will officially be complete.
What a journey this has been!
So many people have given their time, talents, resources, prayers, and financial support to help transform this building into a beautiful and welcoming place where women and families can receive care, compassion, encouragement, and hope.
If you are in the neighborhood, drop by and see us! We would be happy to give you a tour and show you the facilities. We love having the opportunity to share what has been accomplished and what is happening within these walls.
Festival of Trees – Coming This November
Preparations are underway for our Christmas in Pender-Onslow Festival of Trees, and we are looking forward to another wonderful Christmas celebration!
This year’s Festival of Trees promises to be filled with beautifully decorated trees, vendors, entertainment, Christmas activities, and plenty of opportunities for families and friends to come together and enjoy the season. We are excited to welcome our community through the doors and share the joy of Christmas while supporting the mission of Lauren’s Hope.
